ABOUT US

The grounds where Gator Skeet and Trap Club now exists was requisitioned by the US Army Air Forces in 1942 to train the Army Air Corps gunners how to lead targets in air combat.

After the war, it was changed to a civilian gun club. At one time funded by Gainesville Parks & Recreation, GS&TC is now a not-for-profit organization. We provide a safe place for shotgun shooters of all skill levels to come and enjoy the clay target sports.
